Having just had a second bid for Kieran Tierney rejected out of hand, Arsenal are set to return with a third offer for the left-back, according to reports.
Tierney is one of the Gunners’ top targets, although they’re not acting like it as they try to get him on the cheap.
With the Metro reporting that manager Unai Emery personally intervened to persuade the Arsenal hierarchy to up their initial offer, the north London outfit haven’t been deterred.
They are now expected to up their offer again, although it has a long way to go to match Celtic’s valuation.
Celtic have no need to sell, with Tierney not battering down doors demanding a move from a contract that still has four years to run.
Should Arsenal once again fail to match our £25m asking price, Celtic should slap a ‘not-for-sale’ sign on the full-back’s head.
Celtic has a crucial season ahead and Arsenal’s need for players should not be distracting us any further from our business.
