Kilmarnock have knocked back a straight cash bid for Greg Taylor according to reports.
Taylor seemed set to sign, with Jack Hendry and Calvin Miller heading the other way.
The two Celtic players “don’t fancy the move to Rugby Park at the moment” according to the Kilmarnock Standard.
Celtic are reported to have come in with a restructured bid of £2m, with no players moving to Angelo Alessio’s side.
The offer falls short of Kilmarnock’s valuation for the left-back, believed to be in the region of £3m.
Celtic’s still require strengthening on that side of the pitch, although Boli Bolingoli offered further encouragement with a fine performance at Ibrox yesterday.
Hendry and Miller have the right to look after themselves in all of this, but it’s hard to see them getting any game time with the Hoops.
Kilmarnock had tried to land Miller on a permanent deal, while Hendry would have gone to the Ayrshire side on loan.
