Odsonne Edouard has continued his stunning goalscoring streak for France U21s, a hat-trick.
He had looked set to continue his run of scoring doubles for his country before sealing a win with a late strike.
Edouard helped himself to a first-half brace, his fourth of the season for Les Espoirs.
His goals helped his country a 4-1 lead in Slovakia, although they pulled two back before Edouard slotted home to make it 5-3 late in the game following a break down the right.
As seen on the Everything Celtic twitter page, his first was an easy finish after he lost his man in the box and tapped home a low cross.
The on-fire striker then blasted home a second after controlling a low cross from the right.
Edouard has been the subject of transfer speculation but the £9m signing from PSG appears in no hurry to move, saying that playing for Celtic is “magic”.
Having joined as back-up to Moussa Dembele and Leigh Griffiths, Edouard has made the position his own and is growing in confidence all the time.
Celtic face Ross County on Saturday, bidding to get back to winning ways. Fans will be hoping Eddie can carry on his international form as the club looks to get back to winning ways after the setback at Livingston.
